[2D1N Batam Free & EasyTrip with FJ travel] - Day 1 [Jan 2016] lovely trip!!!

Day 1:

Welcome to my 2 day 1 night getaway to Batam island, Indonesia blog. I prefer do some research and comparison with private tour package before I decide which I go for. Since there are a group of friends to join me and I saw FJ travels provide very nice local tour package in Facebook. Thus, I decided to try out their packages (Package price is RM320 excluding massage, which about $107 please refer to the details of package below). It took us about an hour to reach Batam international ferry terminal from Harbourfront Terminal by ferry. Due to long weekend and the demand of ferry tickets are high so I booked our tickets online to prevent run out of ticket. My round trip ferry ticket cost me $48 which including departure fee, fuel surcharge & terminal tax. If you plan to travel there normal weekend, you can directly purchase the ferry ticket at the terminal counter. Gate close 40 minutes before departure time.

I bought 10:20am ferry so that I can reach Batam before 12pm (SG time) :D

We suppose to reach Batam international ferry terminal at 11:20am (SG time) but was delayed till 11:45 am.

Our first stop - Diana layer cake house

They selling two flavour only which are Prune, original  (IDR250000) If you want to tray both can buy their mix. I bought a mix flavour, it cost me about IDR275000, roughly about $28.65.

Next stop was Maha Vidhara Maitreya Temple. Unfortunately, I couldn't get to take more photo on this beautiful temple due to raining heavily . ==''' So, anyone who want to know more about this temple, you can just google image their name to get some idea on it.

Ding~Dong~ The happiest moment is arrived because is Time to have lunch..[Oh ya~ our tour package do included our lunch & dinner] Hiak~ Hiak~ Hiak~  Anyway, while waiting our dishes, so I took chance to look around on this Kelong ^^

We had our seafood lunch at Kelong Citra Utama [near to Baraleng Bridge] which included 7 dishes & coconut drinks served by No. of guest.

Butter fried squid~ I love this..  Initially, I though it must tasteless as its pale appearance .. XD but after taste it, it really YUMMY & fresh~ ~

Furong egg ~ inside have my favourite shrimp ^^ It taste crispy & the shrimp is fresh too

Fried Kangkung ~ The only vege for us.. It was too spicy for me HUHUHU

CoConut Juice ~ As you can see this is old coconut.. Although it is not sweat & flesh  was not soft enough but it stil an important role after I ate so much spicy & salty food.. Hehe 

After finished my lunch must wefie before we went to next station!! Yoo~ WOw~

Of course !! Must have wefie too !!! Everyone look at here !! YEah !

NExt stop - Barelang bridge: What a sad case.. T_T.. I couldn't get to take the enviroment photo due to raining 囧囧囧囧

So Uncle Lai Chun only can U-turn to bring us to Nagoya hill shopping mall. [Hiak Hiak Hiak shopping time, Evil laugh]

Saw this Christmas tree when I step into the mall

Well!! Nagoya Hill considered as one of the largest mall & mostly there are selling counterfeit handbag & clothes. It doesn't attract me as we always shop in Malaysia, Singapore & Thailand. Hahaha.

4:00 pm (Batam time) we depart to 1st Factory outlet in Batam centre. It took about 15 mins to reach from Nagoya hill shopping mall.

1st factory outlet that sell all sorts of branded goods like Burberry, Forever 21, Zara, Nike ...

Burberry shirts are lesser than those sold in typical Burberry stores. According to our tour guide there are authentic stuff just all are based in outlet instead of premium retail stores.

Time to check into our hotel.. Oh yeah ^0^ Another reason that attract me to engage with FJ Travel is that they are included the Hotel that I want to try out, I Hotel Baloi in Batam Centre is new hotel in Batam. It has fabulous review & it is just few steps away from 1st Factory outlet. All the staff there are polite & helpful. For more hotel detail can refer to here. 

Since we are 6 person, we were given 3 rooms. There's no connecting room for superior rooms.

After we swim & gym, we prepared to go for our dinner & massage lu !! But before that, I went to get my more bullet.. Hahaha...(Coz I thought they will accept Dollars but it was not. So yo guys must prepare your bullet enough before go to Batam ya)

Finally we're here !!! I'm so ~ ~ ~ hungry  =_= This beautiful restaurant.named as Bandoeng resto. It's outlook was attracted me. Location: Teluk Tering, Batam City, Riau Islands 29444, Indonesia. Please note that, the size of dishes will serve according to No. of guest & photo below showed for 3 person.

Our drink for the night. It was very very sweet for us but it still quite match with Indo Jawa dishes. Inside consisted jelly, honeydew with milk

I very like this baked fish. Must taste it with the chilli! It has crispy& fresh

My favourite food, CORN!! It is special to me as usually we only steam corn but they are fried in! It taste crispy just like snacks.

Soup was serve in single portion (small bowl each)

Fried Banana with cheese topping. This is the most I like in entire Batam trip. It inspired me to do it myself in Sandy's Kitchen XD

We were gossip while waiting our Big stomach digest. Hehehe..Then, uncle Lai Chun fetched us to the recommended massage shop after we're ready.

Our tour guide recommended GO! Massage to us. Although I saw there were so many cheaper shop out there but I believed that our tour guide sure give me the best choice!

Package & price list

4 of us took the 2 hours package (Massege + Ear candle - Rp 300.000.- each person) while another 2 members took 2 hours traditional massage (Rp 270.000.-). I can said it was nice experience & it really erased away my tension. (Although the price was higher than I tried in Bali, Indonesia, but it was much better than Bali Indo massage).
